Tracy Lee Coltrane Sr. was born on December 24th, 1960 to the late Carl Coltrane and Pauline Spinks Coltrane in Asheboro, NC. Tracy attended school in Asheboro, NC until he moved to Durham, NC where he attended Durham public schools. He worked for Bobby Roberts and Associates for many dedicated years before retiring. Tracy had a deep and sincere devotion and love for his family that was unsurpassed by anything else in his life. He also had a passion for many hobbies to include cars, cooking, music, and he absolutely loved working with his hands. Tracy could often be found from day to day trying to fix or work on something as that was his calling in life. He loved his church and church family and all of those who surrounded and supported him throughout his life. Tracy was proceeded in death by his parents as well as five siblings Cheryl Simmons, Carl Brown Sr., Sarah Anne Sprattling, Phyllis Thompson, Myra Coltrane, and a grandson Michael Spears. He is survived by his wife Alicia Stevenson-Coltrane (Burlington, NC), son Tracy Coltrane Jr. aka “TJ” (Ashley) Durham, NC, daughters Ashley Rorie Jackson (Darielle) Durham, NC, Harmony Coltrane of Burlington, NC, son Stephen Steele Jr. of Durham, NC, daughter Paradise Stevenson of Burlington, NC, son Raven Stevenson Weaver of Raleigh, NC, daughter Nicole Stevenson Weaver of Durham, NC, daughter Lovlee Stevenson of Burlington, NC, brother Calvin Harris of Chapel Hill, NC, brother General Waddell, Sr. “Pete” (Jackie) Asheboro, NC, sister Vanessa Spinks of Durham, NC, brother Richard Coltrane “Buster” of Durham, NC, brother James Coltrane of Durham, NC, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tracy also had a fellowship of extended family and friends which he loved and cared for deeply and was ever grateful for their love and support.
