Mr. Timothy Dash Jr. (Tim), son of the late Timothy Dash Sr and Bertha (Jamison) Dash was born July 18, 1945, in Durham, North Carolina.

He departed this life on April 9,2023 at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina surrounded by his loved ones.

He graduated from Merrick Moore High School. After graduating in 1965 he enlisted in the Army and which he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and then to Fort Campbell, Kentucky before retiring. In 1968 he began working for the American tobacco company in Durham. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, taking his daily walks with his dog. Tim was definitely loved by many with his amazing soul and jokes.

In addition to his parents Tim was preceded by his lovely wife Lavel Dash, His brother Jacob (Ruth) Dash and Walter (Rosa) Dash, and his son Timothy (Twonna) Dash III, His in-law sister Delphine Canty. He is survived by: Four Children Tami D (Stephen)Corkern of Buford Georgia, Brittany Dash of Durham, North Carolina, Rico (Tamarsha) Quick of Henderson, NC, and Damon (Tracy) of Durham, NC. Tim leaves his InLaws: Lelia Woods of Atlanta, Debroah (Carlton) of New York, Otis Quick and Maurice Quick of Durham and Terry (Cynthia) Quick of Atlanta. He was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild with numerous nieces and nephews and two grandpups.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Dash Jr. will take place on Saturday April 15, 2023, at Victory Cathedral Worship Center, 124 E. Edgewood Dr, Durham, NC 27704 at 3:00pm
