On July 8, 1989, Rosalind Margaret and James Jr. joyfully welcomed their son, Thaddeus ScottThompson, into the world at Downstate University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

On February 16, 2026, Thaddeus peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy oflove, generosity, and deep connection to all who knew him. Thaddeus was known for his lovingand giving heart. If you asked him for anything and he had it, he would give it without hesitation.He showed up for others without question, offering kindness, support, and love in both quiet andpowerful ways. His kindness and loyalty touched everyone who knew him, and his presencemade people feel cared for.

He received his education through several schools that shaped his journey, including P.S. 138,P.S. 81, P.S. 115, Glasgow Middle School, J.E.B. Stuart High School, and Thomas Edison HighSchool, from which he graduated. He continued his education at Central Piedmont Community College, Wake Tech Community College, and Johnson Community College, completing trucking school, a milestone that led to a career he embraced with pride.

He worked briefly at Macy’s before transitioning into sales as an Outbound Sales Representative with Time Warner Cable, where he worked for over a year. Thaddeus later foundhis calling in trucking, building a career with Leonard Express and FedEx before concluding hisprofessional journey at Old Dominion, where he worked with dedication and skill.

In 2019, Thaddeus met Nakeeta, and their admiration for one another soon blossomed into abeautiful and loving relationship, one rooted in joy, laughter, and devotion. They were married onNovember 20, 2020, and their love was further blessed with the arrival of their pride and joy,Tiziana, on December 7, 2021.

Thaddeus will be lovingly remembered and deeply mourned by his wife, Nakeeta; his bonusdaughter, Najah; and daughter, Tiziana, all of whom he loved so dearly. He is survived by hismother, Rosalind Margaret; his siblings, Tristan, Tyler, and Tatiana; his grandmother, Rosalind;and his cherished nieces and nephews Malik, Mya, Malcolm, Maddison, Mason, Kayden, andKaylen. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever holdhis memory close.

Thaddeus’s life was a reflection of love in action, shown through his generosity, his dedication tofamily, and his willingness to give of himself without hesitation. Though he will be deeply missed,he is now resting peacefully with his father, grandparents, and aunt, while his spirit continues tolive on in the hearts of those who loved him
