Ross Kennedy Thorpe

Ross Kennedy Thorpe was born on March 4, 1961 in Person County to the late McCollin Edward Junior Thorpe and Vida Mae Tabron Thorpe. After a lengthy illness on Wednesday July 24, 2024, God called him home.

He attended the Durham County Public School. He was employed by Croasdaile Lawn and Landscape and Cardinal Plumbing.

He was preceded in death by his son Barrion K. Thorpe and his two brothers McCollins Sr. and Bernard Thorpe. He was the 13th child of fourteen children. He leaves to cherish his daughter SheKea Nicole Thorpe. Five grandchildren Trevon, Jayden, Cameron, Alaiya, and Aiden Thorpe. Six sisters Edna, Versie, Joyce, Eloise Deborah and Laurett. Five brothers Clarence, Mack, James, Kermit and Dwight. Two Aunts Mable Farrish and Mary Taborn. Two Uncles David Torain and Lee Artis Tabron and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
