Roderick Parker

Roderick Parker 68 of Martinsburg, WV was called home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2024.

Roderick was born on October 13, 1955 in Durham, NC to Autrey Williams and Theodore F. Parker. Shortly after High School Roderick entered the workforce. He spent many years of his life working for companies like “Harvard Industries” and “Guardian Fiberglass” both in Albion, MI. He also learned Karate and later earned a Black belt title. He then became a Karate instructor and began teaching children self defense. Roderick enjoyed fishing, watching movies or Sports, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also had a love for music in which he kept a wide collection of at his home. Roderick was a great Father and friend.

Roderick was preceded in death by his Father Theodore F. Parker (2013). He leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Autrey Williams of Durham, NC,  Five sisters Cathy Fuquay, Vanessa Holman, Phyllis Parker, Donna Parker and Theresa Lawson, Two brothers Christopher Parker and Theodore M. Parker all of Durham, NC, Four children LaShanda Parker, Roderick Parker JR., Martika Berg, and Oliver French, Five grandchildren Renika Parker, Ra’Shona Parker, Alaysia Parker, Ramiya Smith, and Adrien Parker. A special Niece and Nephew Shree Roberts and Marco Parker And a host of nieces, nephews, more relatives and friends.
