Raquicia Reams

Raquicia Laquandra Reams, the daughter Chrystal Lynn Smith and Reginald Lamont Reams was born on May 7, 1994, in Durham, North Carolina. She departed this life on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

She was educated in the Durham City School System and graduated from Hillside New Tech. She also graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Culinary Arts Associate in Applied Science in Charlotte, North Carolina. She loved modeling, traveling, and helping others.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Anthony "Tony" Smith and her great-grandmother, Lavada Reams both of Durham, North Carolina.

She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories; one son, Nashiid Lin Chavis of Durham, North Carolina; three sisters, Ashley Smith, Ashley (Rahcim) Barnes both of Durham, North Carolina and Destiny Johnson of Florida; three brothers, Ramir Reams, Rashaad Reams and Rasheed Reams all of Durham, North Carolina; four uncles David (Regina) Smith of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Wilbert (Yolanda) Smith, Kermit (Angela) Smith and Robert (Deborah) Adams all of Durham, North Carolina; one aunt, Kimberly Smith of Durham, North Carolina. She has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A very special life-partner, Demaris Chavis and stepfather, Patrick White.
