Phillip Craig Estes Neal Sr. passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina

Phillip Craig Estes Neal, Sr. was born to the late Rev. George and Eunice Estes Neal in New York on March 28, 1966. He was raised in Covenant Presbyterian Church in Durham, NC where his father was the Pastor. In the late 1980s he moved his membership to Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church. At Mt level he did great work in and out of the church being involved with the homeless, prison, young adults and choir. He had a passion for helping others anyway he could. He departed this earth after a long battle of illness on April 29th 2023. Shirley C. Neal (wife), Cheantell Lewis (daughter), one brother, Andrew (Lisa) Neal of New York. A brotherhood of over 40 years Anthony 'Black' and Sophia R Perry. Phillip also leaves behind a very large extended family of aunts, cousins, in-laws , nieces nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10th at Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church in Durham.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Church from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
