Phillip Farrington Obituary
Phillip Farrington, born August 25, 1995 in Durham, North Carolina, to Clifton and Sherry Farrington. Phillip entered into eternal rest May 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and kindness that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
He was a vibrant soul from the very beginning. With his infectious smile and quick wit, he had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered. His laughter was like music, spreading joy and happiness to everyone around him. Whether it was through his hilarious jokes, spontaneous impressions, or clever puns, Phillip's impact extended far beyond his humor. He was a loving son, loyal friend, always ready to offer a helping hand.
Phillip attended Durham Public School and received his GED from Durham Technical College. He cherished writing and reading. At an early age, he accompanied his parents to Greater Zion Wall Baptist Church. Later, he joined them at Ark of Safety Outreach Ministry, where he enthusiastically participated in both the mime ministry and choir.
He is survived by grandmother Rosa Farrngton; six sisters, Ebony Mayo (Willie), Kristy Farrington, Ebony Facyson, Crystal Farrington, Regis Combs (Nathan) and Jemmella Rigsbee; two brothers, Leroy Farrington, and Walter Farrington; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's George Brooks and Roger Farrington; grandmother, Flora Brooks, and brother Clifton Farrington Jr.
His family will hold a private memorial and ask the public to respect their privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
