Miss Raquel Shontell Harris

It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the tragic and untimely passing of our beloved Raquel, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 33.

Raquel was a devoted mother, entrepreneur, daughter, sister, and friend whose love knew no bounds. She faced life with strength, compassion, and a heart full of grace. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering support were the foundation of our family. She gave endlessly of herself and always put others before her, especially her daughter, whom she loved more than anything.

The funeral service will be held at The River Church, 4425 Ben Franklin Blvd, Durham, NC 27704, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Glennview Memorial Park.
