Maria Michelle Gordon

Maria Michelle Gordon born July 28, 1972, to the

late Dorothy Lee and Timothy Gordon in Durham,

North Carolina. After a tough fight Maria lost her

battle and was called home on July 1, 2024,

surrounded by loved ones.

Maria attended Durham Public Schools and worked in

hospitality for many years. Maria enjoyed spending time with family and friends and never met a stranger.

Maria leaves to cherish in her memory, one Brother

James Earl Lee of Durham NC, and one Sister

Teresa Lee of Durham NC, Aunts Shirley Elliot

(Alphonso) and Virginia Lee, uncles Kenneth Lee,

Steven Lee, Calvin Lee, and Clee Lee (Joyce) all of

Durham, NC. One nephew, two nieces, eight

great- nephews, and a host of cousins and close friends.
