Kevin Pair Obituary

Kevin Matthew Pair was born on August 13, 1972 to the late Dennis Pair and Sarah Jones Pair. On March 23, 2024, Kevin received his angel wings and went home to be with the Lord.

Kevin was educated in the Durham Public School System. He was a skilled and very talented musician. The anointing of God flowed through Kevins hands on the keyboard and the piano and his music always ministered to many. Kevin always gave God the glory for his gift, and he used his gift to teach others how to play. Over the years, Kevin played for various groups and churches. He served as the Minister of Music for the Greater Ecclesia Worship Center for over 20 years.

On April 11, 2001, Kevin was united in holy matrimony to Angela Laney.

Kevin was truly a devoted husband, excellent musician, a beloved son, brother and friend. He always put God first. Kevin will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, and sister Sharron Pair-Moore

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Angela Pair; his mother, Sarah Jones-Pair; sisters, Dennice Pair and Shaquitia Williams; one brother, Christopher Pair; four uncles, Fred Jones (Therethia), Roy Jones (Emma), Edward Jones, Eugene Jones (Belinda), one aunt; Conlest Clyburn; mother-in-law, Ernestine Laney; one sister-in-law, LeNeeka Laney; two brothers-in-law, Webster Moore and William Foushee; nieces, Cymira, Ahonni, Laniah, LaPrecious, Shontia, Jahnique, Hannah, JaKiah, Rebecca, Jessica, LaKrista, Patience, Mya; nephews, Jaylin, Zechariah, Wiliam, Dominique, Javonte, Kyle, Donnavon, Jonathan, and Jeffrey; Alice Gilbert of Hillsborough, NC; special friends he considered his sisters and brothers, Judy Williams, Vickie Odom, Vonetta Odom, Loretta Odom, and Alisha Quick, Andre Wright, Bishop Ronald Gilchrist, Jeffrey Quick, Dimetrius Curry, Matthais Payton, Tomaris Davis; two god-daughters, Telishia Winston, whom he called baby, and Nevaeh Everette; two special ladies whom he called mom, Geraldine Quick and Kathie Pamplin; three buddies whom he loved to fuss with, Stephanie Young, Chantay Quick, and Shannon Cogwell; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives and friends.
