Kenneth Russell Florence, 'Russ', 74 of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023.

Kenneth was born on December 30, 1948, to Ralph A. Florence and Nancy Johnson Florence in Mebane, North Carolina. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Russell Florence, Jr., "Rusty", and daughter Sarah Naomi Jones and her husband, Andrew Jones, his brother Ronald Florence and his wife, Kathe Florence, and their children, his brother Patrick Florence and wife, Nicki Florence and their children, his sister, Susan Jarosz Florence and her husband, Joseph Jarosz, and their children, two grandsons, Joshua Florence and Daylon Smalls, two granddaughters, Kristen Edwards and Andrea Jones. Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Ralph Florence, and his mother, Nancy Johnson Florence, his daughter, Michelle Lynn Florence, and his son, Christopher Dwight Florence.

Kenneth attended high school in Alamance County. After high school, Kenneth served in the United States Army. Known by many as "the guy that could build or fix anything" he obtained his electrical license after serving in the Army. He enjoyed building things, fishing, visiting the Outer Banks, working on cars, gardening, biking, and flying, so much that he got his pilots license.

He will be greatly missed.
