Jean Eleanor Maull was born January 4, 1941, in Brooklyn NY; to Loving parent Mary Bozeman and Ivery Bozeman.
As a child Jean attended New York Public schools and moved on to receive her bachelor degree from York College in Queen’s NY.
One September 21, 1960, Jean gave birth to her loving daughter Tonya Moore.
In 1976 Jean married Atkins Maull and expanded her family becoming a mother to Toney Maull and Deric Maull. Jean and her family resided in Queen, NY for over 30 years. As everyone moved on to start their own families, Jean retired to Clayton, NC where she spent her remaining years.
Jean was an inspiring model as we can all see by her beautiful pictures. Jean loved music and enjoyed singing in the church choir. In her free time Jean enjoyed playing tennis, Pickle ball, traveling, and putting together puzzles.
On June 24, 2024, Jean closed her eyes for the last time and was called home to be with her loving savior Jesus Christ. Jean will truly be missed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Jean was proceeded in death by her parents Mary Bozeman and Ivery Bozeman. Her ex-husband Atkins Maull. Her grandmother Mary Thorpe, Theodore Thorpe, John Bozeman and Dulcie Bozeman.
Jean leaves behind to celebrate her life her daughter Tonya Moore, sons Toney Maull, Derick Maull, two daughter-in-laws Sylvia Maull, Veda Maull, four grand-children Danielle Fletcher, Jasmine Maull, Qiana Maull, and Andre Maull. One great-granddaughter Demi Fletcher and a host of cousins, family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Jean’s cousin Dorothy Turner and her beautiful daughters Rachel Turner and Whitney Turner for all the love, support and care they have given Jean during her last days.
