Carolyn Louise Peaks, a cherished member of the Durham community, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at Rose Manor Health Care Center. Born on April 23, 1945, Carolyn lived a life marked by grace, warmth, and unwavering kindness.

Throughout her 81 years, Carolyn embodied the values of compassion and dedication. Her roots in Durham remained an integral part of her identity, shaping the values she held dear and the relationships she nurtured. 

Carolyn’s journey concluded at Rose Manor Health Care Center, a place where she received care and comfort in her final days. Her passing leaves a void felt deeply by all who crossed her path, yet her memory lives on through the love and respect she earned throughout her lifetime.
