Britney Renee Rigsbee left us to be with our Lord and Savior on January 3, 2024. Britney was born on August 28, 1990.

Growing up Britney loved to play sports, and she was good at just about anything that she played; basketball, soccer, volleyball. Britney spent her summers growing up at the beach. She loved the water, loved the sand, and loved the pool. Britney was a free spirit, she was fun, she was loud, she was the life of the party. She loved to make those around her laugh. She loved owls, you could find them in every room of her Durham apartment.

She was a devoted mother to her two girls, Kaydence Michelle Hays (13), and Marissa Leigh Rigsbee (3).

Britney will forever be remembered and loved by her girls, loving parents Johnny and Joy Vollers, older brother Brad Vollers and wife Morgan Vollers, older sister Erika Rigsbee, and younger sister Sandy Rigsbee, birth mother Kristen Weiss, grandmother Lois Wilkins "Mee-Maw", grandfather Willie Poole "Papa", nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends.
