Baby Girl Skylar Ganpot Obituary

Precious little angel, Skylar Alexandria Ganpot, beloved daughter of Carlyle and Portia Ganpot Jr., was born on June 24, 2023. Skylar gained her wings on October 09, 2023. Skylar will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her big brown eyes, gorgeous curls and amazing spirit that made her so easy to love. Skylar overcame many milestones and her strength showed everyday of the three months her soul was on this Earth. Although her time was brief she left an everlasting mark on so many that were blessed to know her. The funeral service for Skylar will be held on October 18, 2023 at 1:00PM at World Overcomers Christian Church,2933 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the home following the service. She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Carlyle Ganpot Jr and Portia Purvis Ganpot (Holly Springs); her brother, Cameron Ganpot; her sister, Elise Ganpot; grandparents, Dalton Purvis ( Greenville), Olisa Purvis (Raleigh), Carlyle Ganpot Sr. (Grenada,WI), Rosemary Ganpot(New York); and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the amazing team of nurses in the Duke Pediatric Cardiac ICU for the incredible care they provided Skylar and the entire family. Her parents also send their gratitude to Skylars godparents Joyce McCurtis and Kemba Josiah for their unwavering support. The family appreciates all the thoughts and prayers given at this time.
